Shortcuts Sponsors the 2005 Stylist Choice Awards in New York City

Shortcuts Gets Front Row Seats Among the Industry’s Elite.

New York, NY - April 17th, 2005 - Part of Shortcuts busy schedule of events was the Stylist Choice Awards hosted by BehindtheChair.com. The best in the industry were given awards based on the votes of stylists from around the country. The following awards were given during the event: Redken Fifth Avenue was awarded Best Overall Professional Products Company and product lines All Soft, Shades EQ, and the Redken Symposium. Among the other winners Paul Mitchell, TIGI Bed Head, Matrix, and Farouk, PureOlogy, Joico, and ARTec were some of the many that took the stage to be recognized for their excellence.

Jason Seed, Shortcuts global CEO and Rob Aubin, VP of sales and operations, presented the award for Favorite Industry Show to Mike Boyce from the International Beauty Show. Other presenters at the Stylist Choice Awards includes: Robert Cromeans, Kris Sorbie, Chris Baran, Sandra Yu, Scott Cole, Linda Yodice, Andrew Bartfield, Michael DeVellis, Brian and Sandra Smith, Nicholas French, Dwight Miller, Angus Mitchell, Ann Mincey, Billy B, Damien Carney, James Morrison, Sam Brocato, Martyn Duff, Mary Brunetti, Melissa Yamaguchi, Ruth Roche, Stephanie Kocielski, Tommy Tussa, Warren Tricomi, Marco Passaniti, Patty Roberts, Laura Holmes, Kevin Givens, Geno Stampora, Steven Brooks, Kaz Amore, Ted Gibson, and Mark Garrison.

Treating existing clients to a VIP section, Shortcuts had front row seats to all of the action at the awards lasting from 8-10pm at theCrobar in New York City. VIP's from top beauty companies, including Paul Mitchell, Redken, Joico/ISO, TIGI, Farouk, Takara Belmont, Kenra Goldwell, L’Oréal, Matrix, OPI, Wella, and many more were also there on the night.
