Shortcuts is Officially Givex Friendly

Givex announced Shortcuts is officially integrated into their system

August, 15th, 2006 - Marietta, GA – Shortcuts and Givex officially announce their partnership to provide salons and spas in North America a new and better way to implement gift cards.

Givex, originally based in Canada, offers business owners a great way to increase marketing, sales, and of course revenue with their extended gift card system. The way the system works that makes it stand out is they allow plastic gift cards to be given to a customer and then used at any of the participating locations anywhere in the country. Large franchises or local salons with more than one location can certainly appreciate the convenience this brings to their clients.

Another feature that makes the service incredible is that the cards can be recharged with additional funds and can continue to be reused. Not only does this cut printing costs, but it adds a whole new aspect to the application of gift cards. These cards are now capable of balance adjustments, cancellations, and reversals making gift cards a flexible product to provide in the salon.

“Givex has really led the industry when it comes to the extended gift card concept,” said Rob Aubin, General Manager for Shortcuts North America. “Our integration with them was designed to both make business life easier for our clients and to widen the road to create a more profitable gift card in the salon.”
