AVEDA installs Shortcuts
March 2008, London - Aveda has installed Shortcuts Software in their Lifestyle Salon and store in Marylebone High Street, London.

Until recently the Aveda store in Marylebone High Street was a retail store. Following an extensive refit it is now a Lifestyle Salon offering both retail and hair services.
To run the salon and retail side effectively and efficiently AVEDA needed a powerful salon management system. Shortcuts is designed for salons and spas so it was perfect for the salon, but critically the stock management system of the software is extremely powerful and can also manage the retail side of the business.
Melissa McRae, Operations Manager of AVEDA explained:" It's great to have Shortcuts on board. Not only is the software management system effective, but the training received was extremely thorough. Shortcuts is a great system that allows us to analyse both sides of the business, the salon and retail, so we can make the correct decisions to ensure the smooth running of the salon and store."
Shortcuts is designed to follow the day-to-day processes of a salon, making them quick, simple and profitable. Salons can use Shortcuts to manage their appointment book, market to their client base, check and manage their stock, run the employee roster and holidays as well as providing an option of over 100 reports on the status of the salon’s business.
Mike Sowden, Head of UK and European Operations for Shortcuts adds: "To manage a business the size of the Marylebone Lifestyle Salon and Store it is essential to have a efficient and workable salon management system in place. This is especially true when a high percentage of the premises are dedicated to retail. We are delighted that Shortcuts can help play a part in the new AVEDA Lifestyle Salon and Store in Marylebone High Street."
