Shortcuts cuts a bigger slice
On the 1st January, 2005 Shortcuts Software announced the formal acquisition of their United Kingdom and United States of America distributors. The announcement comes after months of negotiations, formalising the implementation of their new business plan.
Jason Seed, Shortcuts global CEO, said the move was the natural progression to tap further into international markets. "Our sales internationally have gone through the roof and if we are to continue this success we needed more control over the consistency in the delivery of our products," he said. With offices in Brisbane, Manchester (UK), Long Beach (USA) and Greensboro (USA) this Brisbane-based company has grown from a staff of 30 employees to a thriving team of over 60. All departments will have representatives in the other offices to implement the developed initiatives. "Now we will be able to provide an unparalleled
support service to clients as our support, education, sales and marketing teams will join forces throughout the world," said Mr Seed.
Also from the 1st January 2005 Shortcuts is able to now trade under its real name in the USA. Having resolved a trademark issue there, Shortcuts Software USA will be the name of the USA operations.
