Todd says his inspiration comes from his true passion for hair and the challenges associated with developing his business.

“We work very hard to achieve economic success and that has always been a priority. Without that, we wouldn’t have been able to expand our business and establish a second salon in Brisbane. Having a passion for what we do day-to-day is what fuels this determination and makes the whole process enjoyable,” he says.

Away from the hustle and bustle of his inner city salons, Todd can be found playing XBox and cooking (though not at the same time) in the quiet comfort of his home- a luxury rarely afforded to such high profile salon owners in this day and age. But the busy lifestyle is what Todd finds most exciting about the business and he says that “a new day” is what motivates him most.

As the managing director of the salons, Todd relies on Shortcuts to deliver timely and accurate reports on a daily basis which he says allows him to keep an eagle eye on the daily stats and all financial aspects of the business. Todd believes his personal point of difference centres around his positive, ‘go get ‘em’ attitude which he channels into his business every day.

“I think our business has become what it is today through skilled business initiatives and a highly intelligent management team. We are constantly making decisions to improve our economic success and client retention,” Todd reveals.
