Shortcuts Authorised Distributor Program
The Shortcuts Authorised Distributor title enables you to distribute Shortcuts suite of products and services to resellers or agents by adding value to the supply chain such as including product inventory, shipping, technical support, pre- and post-sales support and extended credit terms. When you become a Shortcuts Authorised Distributor, Shortcuts invests in your success with programs that aim at giving you the marketing and sales support necessary to promote your activities with Shortcuts products and improve your business.
As a Distributor you are required to:
- Manage issues concerning product localisation, translation and anything central to the ability to be able to sell and support Shortcuts in the region.
- Manage and support (technical, sales and user training) a base of quality resellers or agents across the country or region in which the Distributor operates.
- Provide nationwide or region-wide Help Desk telephone support in the local language or languages used in the region.
- Manage nationwide or region-wide marketing and promotional campaigns, including advertising, trade shows, direct mail, PR and sales promotions.
- Be able to develop specific reporting and 3rd party software integration as per customer needs.
- Provide a national Streamlined Training Tour at least once every year.
- Source appropriate hardware for the resellers
- Configure, install and test software and hardware and send out to resellers or agents.
The Distributor is also permitted to sell directly to the market where it sees fit to do so.

So what do I need to do to become a Shortcuts Authorised Distributor?
- Submit the online application online.
- Submit a business plan including:
- Monthly targets for first 12 month period
- Anticipated marketing and promotion spend for first 12 months
- Your planned selling techniques
- Detailed list of competitors in your region
- Detail on the top five salon chains in your region
- Details of the top named salons and spas in your region
- Send at least one person to a Shortcuts office for training - Australia, UK or USA.
