Problem: Running Windows XP on a network, the Shortcuts application opens up fine on the server computer, but when opening up Shortcuts on the client computer an errors occurs:
Solution: Check that the Access Type is set to Full Sharing on each computer running Shortcuts on the network, to do this do the following: double click My Computer, right mouse click on Local Disk (C:), select Properties, select the Sharing tab). Also in the sharing properties of each computer the following check box needs to be checked “Allow network users to change my files”.
